SIM-central is a shop which brings both a virtual store and a mailorder.
We are specialized in records, mostly vinyl and CD's but also a small collection of books, magazines, DVDs.
With the music our starting-point is electronic music of the last 100 years.
We focus on the more experimental releases with a focus on genres like Dubstep, Avant Hip-hop, Break-core cut- and mash-up, downbeat and Sound art.
Our focus with the books and magazines is on media, image-culture, design and related matters like politics, art, philosophy, street culture
(from sneakers, graffiti to hacking). We offer the more theoretical approach as well as the culture and practice view.
Our DVD collection focusses on the developments in the Avant Garde, past and present. We carry short film and videoclip compilers, Live- and Digital Cinema.
